The transformation of recyclable material coming from demolition activities is at the heart of our corporate objective to value and reuse materials. Wood, steel, other materials and equipment can have a second useful life. Their transformation into construction material, into products that can be sold to recyclers or any other form permit their reutilization.
The transformation
Wood revaluation project from tearing down a military building. Under DemAction’s guidance, recycled wood was used to manufacture products like floor coverings, decorative moldings, timber and high-end furniture. Also, recycled steel was used to produce high-capacity tanks for the benefit of an oil company. Finally, snowmobile clubs have built a good number of bridges with our recycled steel beams.
